On Monday evening July 10, artist Lili Reynaud Dewar discussed her work and the realisation of the film, performance and installation Teeth, Gums, Machines, Future, Society, which was on view in Vleeshal.
In her work, artist Lili Reynaud Dewar explores the sexual, racial and political conditioning and stereotypes that influence our cultural identity. She deliberately breaks with conventions and traditions in order to explore them and to create a space for thought in which the viewers can and must form their own opinions.
This artist talk was part the Decolonial Summer School and was organised in collaboration with University College Roosevelt.
