Team V will organize its final public program of 2024 at Vleeshal on Wednesday, December 11 from 5:30pm to 8pm. The program, titled Current, is a charity dinner and invites you to an intimate evening of food, art, and activism, inspired by themes addressed in Clémence Lollia Hilaire's exhibition Harvest. The charity dinner aims to raise awareness and support for the nonprofit organization Women on Waves in its efforts to prevent unsafe abortions and empower women to exercise their human rights to physical and mental autonomy.
The evening will start with welcome drinks and opening remarks by Team V, followed by a presentation by Women on Waves on their work. After these introductions, guests are invited to watch a screening of Harvest by Clémence Lollia Hilaire, setting the tone for the dinner and the conversations ahead.
A three-course vegan dinner will be served, accompanied by homebrewed kombucha and kefir, conceptualized and prepared by the artist and chef Aslı Hatipoğlu, each dish featuring seaweed—referencing both local resources and the exhibition. With each dish, Hatipoğlu will offer insights into the special dishes being served. By hosting this dinner Team V emphasizes eating together as a collective act—both symbolically and practically—to break bread and practice solidarity.
The evening will conclude with a performance by dancer and choreographer Isla Clarck, offering a moment of reflection to conclude this program.

Series
Team V is a group of young, diverse, and creative individuals with a passion for contemporary art. Each member has been selected for their motivation to learn about curatorial processes. They are coached and consulted by the Vleeshal team and learn about all aspects of working in a professional art institution. During the coming year, Team V will get a unique chance to look behind the scenes during Vleeshal’s projects while creating public programs and connecting with the full team, the artists, experts and a wide range of audience members. The members are Janna Dieleman, Agathe Ernandès, Donna van Kuilenburg, Zenana Ojha, Lucy de Theije and Sam Wigglesworth.
The Team V program connects education with artistic programming. By letting them organize their own public program in relation to Vleeshal exhibitions, we create space for young voices.
